Often I'm asked if I could recommend a few easy changes that would make a significant difference in one's health, things that may be soo easy you don't even notice a difference when it comes to effort. For some people they may not even notice a taste difference, though some may but maybe in a good way :)
#1 Change your salt
For decades people have been eating a bleached substance without even questioning it. Why are we eating a chemically bleached food item? Doesn't that sound wrong? Yes, table salt is bleached and its trace minerals are destroyed. It's associated with high blood pressure, thyroid dysfunction and other health problems. But your saying salt makes our food tasty! and your right it does, and you don't have to give up salt, just table salt and others that have been processed in a similar manner. All you need to do is switch to unrefined sea salt, Celtic sea salt, or Himalayan pink salt. These salts are not processed, not bleached and not stripped of their trace minerals and react differently to your body. Eat in moderation but by all means do eat!
