Who's with me?
Ramadan is not the month of samosas and pakoras! Often times we overindulge when that is the exact opposite of what we are supposed to be doing.
Ramadan is the month fasting and feeling compassion for the poor. It's the month to focus on Quran, prayer, supplications, and giving charity. Let's bring back the true meaning of Ramadan, and skip the part where we over eat and end up in the hospital (yeah I've heard of that happening unfortunately). Let's aim to eat healthier so we have the energy to focus on what's important.
So I challenge you to give up fried foods for the month of Ramadan. Save the feasting for Eid. This challenge is for everyone whether you fast or not, Muslim or not. Let's make eating healthier, feeling more energetic and being more productive go global! Who's with me? Let me know if you are in in the comments section. Feel free to share!
